Spring Freeze!

It's felt more like winter than springtime the past few days. We had a cold front move in and dropped our temperatures down to the forties during the day and below freezing at night. Not good for all the plants. A whole lot of plants in the area have all their new growth killed. I have several azaleas in my yard and about half were near full bloom, but now all the flowers and most of the leaves are brown from the freezing temperatures. The dogwood flowers that were so beautiful a few days ago are also gone. I just hope everything rebounds pretty quickly and we'll have a nice looking spring again. The mountains got snow, too, during this bout of cold weather - I think the most they've had all year.
