Saturday was another busy day. We did our normal weekend chores and running errands and that kept us pretty busy. With spring just around the corner we are able to get outdoors more and work in the yard. Yea! Today was a beautiful day for that too. I washed both cars, which really needed it bad, so we are driving in clean vehicles again. It was great to open the windows in the house again to let the breeze blow through too!
We went Lori's house during the evening for a drop-in housewarming that Jeanne and Tania gave to her. Lori moved last year to the other side of town. She was originally looking for a patio home, but she moved instead to a retirement community. I think she said most of the people in her neighborhood are older adults. She chose the house over the patio home because the homeowner's association dues includes landscapers who do the yards for the whole community. Her house is really nice and looks like a model home with her decorating skills. She has just about all new furniture and home accents. When she gave us a tour I asked her if she had anything from her old house that she brought with her - there were a few things, but not many. It was a small group and it was good seeing Lori and the others again.

Sounds like a productive day. Wish someone would wash my car!
Can't wait to see Lori's new house. Wish I could have been there. She really could be a professional decorator. What did she do with all her decor from the old house?
