Operation Christmas Child
Jullian has wanted to help out at the Operation Christmas Child processing center since he came to live with me a few years ago and I would go help them sort through the packages that they receive for the kids. Well, he's old enough now and we went down to the processing center to help out. They had only two spots open in the receiving department and we took them. When churches, organizations or individuals dropped off the boxes we unloaded them, counted them and got them ready to be processed. We unloaded hundreds of boxes that were delivered to the warehouse. We had a good time and are planning to go back again in a few weeks.

That is GREAT! The churches and some towns collect the shoeboxes here too. We had planned on making one or two, but with my brain fog, we missed the deadline...shame on us. I've still got to get some little gifts together to mail to our World Vision kids.
Is that program throughout the U.S. or just in N.C.?

Cindy - the program is throughout the world, but I think the closest distribution center to you is in Colorado or California.
